The 2nd SurfSAFE’s Training School – “Protein adsorption and biofilm formation” – took place in Groningen, the Netherlands, from 12th to 14th April 2022. It was hosted by Professor Jelmer Sjollema from the University Medical Center Groningen.

The SurfSAFE project organized its Second Short-Term Scientific Mission!
The launch meeting of the SurfSAFE project brought together the 4 organizations of the consortium.
The SurfSAFE’s article Surface modification to increase microbial safety in the food industry was published in the industrial magazine Food & Drink Technology.
The 3rd SurfSAFE Short-Term Scientific Mission took place in Porto, Portugal, from the 3rd to the 4th of May 2022.
The SurfSAFE project organized its Fourth Short-Term Scientific Mission, which was virtually hosted by Professor Filipe Mergulhão from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto from 5 to 6th July 2022.
SurfSAFE’s project participated in the 4th IC on Biological and Biomimetic Adhesives, at University of Aveiro.
